Hi All,
Last night we had one of the best A.G.Ms that I can remember since I joined the club. I made the count 25 which is better than some normal club nights that I have attended. Much was discussed amongst which was the programme for next season. Though still in provisional form it looks really good with some strong speakers lined up.
As you will know the quality of Alsager C.Cs work has been recognised by the club being chosen to represent the North West in the interclub competition to be held at Warwick in July. This is quite an honour,which is well deserved, but things don’t end there. Dave Beardmore, one of our relatively newer members was notified on May 8th this year that one of his images has been accepted for the Hoylake International Exhibition. Congratulations Dave, very well done.
Last night was the last of our official meetings but like last year the Golf Club are letting us use their club for an informal meeting for a drink and a chat on the last Thursday evening of every month until the new season starts. So according to my calender we can meet socially on June 30th at about 7.30 to 8.00 p.m or thereabouts.
