Field Trip - JCB Mud Run 2015
27th June 2015
We have just returned from a really superb field trip to the JCB Mud Run.
Many thanks to Jason for organising this field trip and there were nine of us who attended.
Our day began as we arrived at JCB headquarters and took the coaches to the test site. We were delivered to the start area and were then free to wander the course. The organisers suggested wearing Hi Vis and accompanied by our cameras, we effectively had access all areas passes.
There were many different obstacles arround the five mile course, but the most spectacular were the water and mud pits. We were blessed with lovely weather giving us great photographic opportunities.
Muriel did have a slight fall banging her head and wrist and had to visit the medical tent – I think that she was eager to join in with the competitors. Following a short rest she recovered and is well.
We left (slightly muddier) following a super morning. Expect to see a few a few Mud Run shots next year.
It was a fab day took far too many pictures but very happy with what I got 🙂 thanks Jason for organising it
