Results from the Five towns competition

Last night we hosted this year’s 5 towns competiton. As usual the standard of mono prints was very high with all five clubs putting forward their best images.

We held the event at the 13 club which proved to be a very good alternative to our usual venue. Judge, Christine Widdall provided an expert analysis of each image, and went on to mark the images wth skill and fairness.

The marks were extremely close with only 7 points separating the top four clubs. For the second year running we ended up in first place. Andrew Charlesworth of Nantwich had the winning print with “Skeletons in the mist”.
