Tonight saw Alsager take a comfortable victory against Nantwich in our annual interclub competition. According to several senior members this is the first time that this has happened (certainly for a long while).
Judge Tremaine Cornish offered very positive and constructive comments on all images, from both clubs and the standard was very high. At the end of the PDI round Alsager had opened a 13 point lead. The Print round saw us increase the lead to 18 points making the final total Alsager 520 Nantwich 502. Geoff Reader’s “Pre Dance Nerves,” was the winning print.
Many thanks to Nantwich for their hospitality. I am sure they will want to try to even the score at the 5 towns competition.
