Tonight we were treated to a fascinating talk from Boyd Harris from Chorley PS. He enthralled us with his tales and photographs of one of his treks through the mountainous areas of Nepal.
His is lively and friendly style worked hand in hand with a very slick and informative presentation. Many of us came away feeling jealous of the wonderful photographic opportunities offered by walking through the Himalayas.
He started by talking us through some of the history of exploration in the area and gave us a useful geography lesson to locate the part of Nepal covered by his expedition. We then followed his journey accompanied by images and stories.
The evening flew by and I would like to congratulate and thank Boyd for a very entertaining evening.
