For any members who are thinking about moving into the world of salon photography, I would like to inform you that the Bebington Salon of Photography is now taking entrants for it’s 2014 Salon. This Salon is particular close to us, as we make an annual visit to Crewe to view it. Last year saw two members receive acceptances and it would be great to better that this year.
The process of entering is fairly straight forward. After selecting the your images download the rules and entry form here . Put the images on a CD and send them with the entrance fee to the address on the entry form.
The closing date is 27th November 2013.
What is Salon Photography
Salon Photography is essentially a national completion. A panel of judges will accept images that meet the required standard into the exhibition. Gaining an acceptance is an achievement to be proud of. There are also awards for the higher placed images. This particular salon is a member of British Photographic Exhibitions, meaning that if you accumulate 25 acceptances you get you use the letters BPE1* after your name.
